S40 Full Automatic Oboe
The Howarth S40C oboe is a graduate model designed for intermediate- to advanced-level players, and is an ideal upgrade from our student models. Still comparatively light in weight, and therefore suitable for accomplished young musicians, the keywork on the S40C has many of the same features as a professional-level instrument, with a greater variety of fingerings and trills than the S20C. This oboe will comfortably take players past grade 8 to advanced level.
This S40C is a conservatoire system with fully automatic octaves, a third octave key, C-D, C-C#, Ab-Bb, A-Ab, and low C-C# (“Banana”) trill keys, forked F and low Bb vents, a left-hand F key, and a low B-C link.
Level: Intermediate-Advanced

Lorée |
Royal 125 Oboe
The Lorée Royal combines musicality, reliability and beauty. Special attention is paid to the selection of the wood, and this instrument appeals to those looking for the darker and rounder tone given by thicker walls.
The Loree Royal 125 is a premium, 125th-anniversary edition of the standard Loree Royal oboe, featuring gold-plated posts, rings, and a wide gold-plated reed well for improved resonance. While both share the same rich, thick-walled, and dark-toned design, the 125 model specifically includes a high D key facilitator and uses 10-year dried wood.
